Building Awareness in Belgium
On 26 April 2007, Natalie Imbruglia attended the launch event of a UNFPA public awareness initiative in Belgium. While in Brussels, she helped bring attention to fistula and the global Campaign through print, TV and radio interviews. Print coverage included the national dailies Le Soir and Het Laatste Nieuws. Television coverage included VTM, the country's main commercial TV station,and De Rode Loper. Additionally, a number of radio outlets, medical journals, health/lifestyle magazines and news web sites covered the Belgium campaign.
